As said before we were tired, but not tired enough to disregard all this noise what came from street. There is a fire station not far from our flat and from the very first night spent in London it proved the fact that londoners aren’t changed too much from the times of Great Fire of London or Guy Fawkes… It was like a carousel of fire-engines around us this night (and nights after that as well). But still we enjoyed our rest.
Our second day in England was planned as excursion-day. And it worked out well. Started our sightseeing tour from Trafalgar square we walked to St James’s Park, Hyde Park, Chelsea area… Finally we took metro (Victoria line i guess) from Vauxhall and arrived to Emirates stadium area few seconds after final whistle of Arsenal-Blackburn match. New Emirates stadium looks really nice. But we didn’t spend too much time there, bought few beers from shop and moved back to Liverpool Street station.
There were few pubs at our appartment’s neighbourhood. We visited few of them this night. The last one included Thai restaurant, but food wasn’t worth of mention. But beer was great as always!
After pub-tour we returned flat, watched some TV (wrestling, Borat), had few beers and went to sleep then surrounded by soundtrack of local fire brigades.
